We are 2 professional female house mates and friends looking to find the perfect house mate to share this lovely large house which we co-own. Your room comes with a large ensuite bathroom and occupies the whole top floor of the house and has built in storage. Your window looks out to our back garden which contains a beautiful weeping willow tree, a patio and a hot tub! The house has 4 bedrooms, one of which stays as a guest room. There is a living room at the front of the house as well as an open plan living/dining/kitchen area where we relax most of the time and which also has a large TV. There is a huge garden and we use the hot tub for barbecues and parties in the summer. The house is well fitted out with applicances, we have a washer/dryer, US style fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, range master cooker, dishwasher, iron and BBQ.

We are both very social and often out midweek and at weekends. The house is normally fairly quiet and laid back and your room will ensure you're not ever kept awake by any noise in the house, as it is 2 floors above the living rooms. We like to have people over sometimes for dinner and especially as as the garden is so lovely, we will invite people round especially on sunny days.

There is one cat who lives here, he is well behaved and mostly out during the day. He won't be allowed on your floor unless you want him to be so should not pose a problem for any non cat lovers. Cat lovers are of course very welcome!

We are both tidy and like to keep our house looking nice for everyone so our only real criteria is someone who can clean up after themselves and will enjoy living in such a nice space.

Anyone working near the jubilee line would find the commute very easy as its just one stop on C2C train to West Ham then change to jubilee line. C2C also runs trains directly to Fenchurch street in 12 minutes from Barking for any city workers. Barking is a fast developing area and one of us works on an arts and regeneration project here so if you're not familiar to the area we can introduce you to restaurants, cafes, pubs and some lovely quirky places including the Boathouse, Bathhouse and Studio 3 Arts.
