Hi guys,

I have a lovely double room in a newly renovated flat (first tenancy) available for a mature or Phd student. In case you are a young professional and happy to pay the discounted council tax fell invited. The flat is a stone throw away from Waitrose and the beach front. It has double glassed windows, a dish washer, large fridge with separate freezer, and a new washing machine with a drying function. The flat is over the first and second floor of the building. It has an open, awesome kitchen, perfect for cooking delicious dinners, with a spacious living room, a bright utility room with space for an office area. The bedroom is a smaller but very quiet and bright double room that goes out to the back of the house. Kitchen & living room come fully furnished but the bedroom will most probably be unfurnished (I will need to confirm this with my current flatmate). There will be references required, a deposit and an agent fee. But the flat is worth it. I really love my the flat and feel very much at home!

A few lines about me and what kind of person I'm searching for:

I am currently finishing the first year of my Phd in Economics at Sussex. I know that sounds extremely boring but belief me, I am not. I'm into all types of art, love music, have a great passion for theater, love being outside at the fresh air as much as possible, enjoy cooking for my friends, always up for a trip to somewhere, love sports... just anything that is a nice change from my work. I used to travel a lot and lived almost two years in Asia. Originally I'm from Berlin, but besides England and Indonesia I used to live in the Netherlands, Hong Kong and Switzerland. So where ever you are from you are very welcome. I guess this is enough information for the meantime.

The ideal person would be someone who like me wants to have a nice, relaxed and clean home and not a crazy party house. I love cooking and am always up for a chat and a glass of wine, a good movie or some funny board game. I would really love to find someone who is more of a friend than just a stranger sharing the same kitchen with me. I'm not a cleaning freak but I also don't want to live between 3 days old pizza and open beer cans so please if you feel more like cleaning once every two month rather then every two weeks, I think you will be happier with another flatmate.
