Hello! My lovely lodger is moving to Scotland so I am looking for a new non-smoking person to share with me and my two friendly little cats!
Nice bright furnished double room in Bevendean (Brighton). Clean and tidy house with plenty of lovely green space around (including a big garden).
It's a fairly peaceful house (mostly!). I'm a natural health practitioner and I often work from home and need it to be quiet while I'm with clients (usually weekdays) so it's ideal for someone who likes a relaxing environment.
I do quite a lot of activities/social stuff so am out and about a fair bit but I like to catch up with my housemate with a cup of tea/glass of wine when we both have the time :)
Plenty of free parking here and the 48 bus stops very nearby.
Unfortunately I can't take anyone with a pet... much as I would welcome another cat or a dog to stay here, I'm afraid my cats won't tolerate any other animals in their house. They like people though!
Rent includes Council Tax, Wifi Broadband, electric, gas and water bills
Minimum six months tenancy period. Will reduce rent for Monday-Friday only rental.
One other thing I should mention... I am veggie myself but have no problem at all with meat being in the house or eaten in front of me. I do struggle with the smell of it cooking though - I can cope with it being cooked in the oven or microwave but I do struggle with the smell of meat (especially red meat) or fish being fried or grilled in the house so prefer it not to be done too often, sorry!
