Hello! We are looking for 2 housemates for 2 rooms in a lovely big detached house near to Preston Park.
One room is small and unfurnished (though we have a spare double mattress you would be welcome to have, or not), and one room is larger and furnished. We can switch the furnishings around if it suits you. The smaller room still fits a double bed, desk and wardrobe just about, and has a french window leading out to the garden. The larger room has an inbuilt wardrobe and a lovely view all the way to the downs.
Nice big spacious open plan living room and kitchen, front and back decking garden, loads of space to store your bike or what have you, and all the lettuce you can eat! We also have a trampoline if you're into that!
About us - Rory is 26 and Frances is 27. We're friends originally from Mid Wales but have lived in Brighton for a few years - just because it's nice really! We both work in offices so are relatively quiet in the week although like to hang out, have people over for dinner and wine etc. We are weekend party people but are not completely mental. Rory plays the guitar, we are very happy with musicians living here as it's detached and our neighbours are very nice. We're both into yoga and cooking and a good festival every now and again.
About you - couples are fine as long as you would like both the rooms, as there is only one bathroom and we don't want the house to be too full for everyone. Small pets which live in their own little house are fine too, cats and small dogs are potentially ok but we need to check with our landlord first. We don't smoke in the house but it's ok to smoke in your room if you like.
Other than that we are quite chilled out people, it's a nice house so we like to keep it quite tidy but we are not really stressy about it, and we are both into both going out and staying in, we like having people over and meeting new folks, so we are happy to meet anyone really - just get in touch and we can have a chat!
