We have a large room to rent in our family home near Fiveways/Hollingdean in Brighton. It's on the ground floor of the house and is 3.5 x 5m furnished double room.

We're a friendly bunch although do tend to retreat upstairs around 8:30-9pm during the week and become quite quiet then! We can't be too bad as our last lodger stayed 2 years! Ideally looking for a Monday-Friday person but would be flexible for the right person!

About a half hour walk to the pier and 10 mins to the South Downs - free parking outside. Plenty of buses -a bus stop literally opposite our front door - or other routes in the next road linking: into town, universities etc. A few shops locally, take-aways, off licences, pubs, chemist, post office 2 mins walk max

We have a nice well trained dog and ancient cat (that mainly lives in a cupboard upstairs) sometimes we have orphan lambs in the Spring as my boyfriend is a farmer but they don't stay too long! there a chickens in the garden and you can help yourself to fresh eggs and fruit from the veg patch in the summer.

Could include meals if required (an extra fee however!)
