Good sized double room available in Hanover house share for 575 per month. Rent is not inclusive of bills, council tax etc. Agency fees also apply.

My current housemate is unfortunately leaving Brighton for pastures new and so I'm looking for someone else to share this lovely home with! It's a great place - large open-plan living room/kitchen on the ground floor with a breakfast bar, plenty of storage space and all modern amenities including a brand new fridge and boiler. There's also a small patio/garden out back.

The room itself is on the top floor and is a decent size - you can easily fit a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and desk in there if you like.

If you don't know Hanover it's a quite a quiet residential area but still only a 5-10 minute walk into town - best of both worlds! There's also numerous pubs dotted around the place - just a few minutes walk in any direction.

A little about myself - I'm social policy researcher for a small charity based in Brighton. I've been here for the past three years (originally from Northumberland), love the place and don't want to move! I work 9-5, 5 days a week so am ideally looking for another working professional or mature student on a similar schedule.

Interests include films, books/graphic novels, going for nice walks on the Downs and food most importantly - I like to think I've got reasonably good culinary skills and would be happy to cook for you and vice versa. Plus it cuts down on those food bills.

I'm looking for a housemate who is clean and tidy (no dirty dishes left for days), considerate in terms of noise etc. but also sociable. Let me know if you fit the bill!

The room is available from early August for 12 months. It's let through a local estate agents, so you would need to go through normal referencing process and they will also charge an administration fee. They've been really good with us since we moved in and are always very responsive if any minor issues come up.
