Hi! We are three third year PhD students at Sussex uni looking for a third person for a little home in Hanover.
Unfortunately it might be difficult to arrange a viewing of the house itself but if you think you are interested, lots of photos can be sent your way, but you might need to make a leap of faith.
The house is over three floors - has a small garden/barbecue area, a lovely kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms(one with a bath), 2 toilets (one outside....bit weird we know...) and four bedrooms. Bedrooms each have double bed, desk and wardrobe space. While the rooms have everything you'd need, they aren't uber spacious....so think cozy, hobbity vibes and if that appeals to you - you would need to practice yoga positions elsewhere (perhaps staircase :p)
The room would probably best suit a postgrad student who is sociable, easygoing but not a slob. We're not fussed about gender, just someone we get on with and who is respectful. That said, professionals welcome to mail but not sure how council tax would work out so you'd need to figure that out.
Unfortunately no pets allowed except for fish. as such, we are totally getting a fish.
We're a pretty international bunch - Lebanesey Costa Rican, Iraqi-ish South African, Turkish...all lefty but not obnoxiously so and all very open-minded. We like cooking, watching bad films, walking the city, reading... Not massive party animals but also not reclusive or anti-social in any way.
I have a weird thing about tuperwares (I like them. Too much) and one of the girls manages to burn her toast on a daily basis but other than that we don't have any particularly freakish qualities and are really quite nice.
Ideally we'd like our last house mate sorted as soon as possible so if you're interested please drop me a line so we can arrange a skype or a coffee :-)
P. S. im afraid anyone interested has to have a UK guarantor - the landlord requires it....
Sorry, the room is no longer available
