Large double room in ground floor 2 bedroom flat with garden. Available for a 3-6 month stay for a flatmate to feel at home - shared with 1 other person (female, 32, full-time working professional) and 2 gorgeous cats.

The flat is in a period property and was entirely renovated last year - very well equipped with latest, high spec appliances and features.

The bedroom has a king size bed, desk (great private space for working), very large fitted wardrobe, bedside table, full length mirror and under bed storage space.

The living room has a large, comfy corner sofa, dining room table which comfortably seats 4-6 (we also have an extra foldaway table and chairs if needed). TV with Netflix - which can watched whilst cooking in the kitchen or relaxing on the sofa!

As well as the essentials, the kitchen has microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler and ample of preparation space including a breakfast bar with views to the garden. Well stocked with cooking equipment and spices which of course you are welcome to use!

The garden has both a patio area with bbq and comfy seating as well as a grass lawn (good space for outdoor workouts!), flowerbeds and fresh herbs (please help yourself!). It is a very private garden (rare for London!) and has lots of garden lights - perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

The flat is located in Peckham/Camberwell - good nearby pubs, independent cafes and shops. Peckham Rye, Burgess Park, Brockwell Park (with lido) and Dulwich Park are all in easy reach for runs, cycles or walks and there are even a couple of smaller parks less than 5 minute walk away. If you enjoy cycling, the beautiful Kent countryside and Biggin Hill are very accessible by bike for weekend rides (or direct trains from Denmark Hill station).

Around us are pretty, quiet roads, but you’re not far from buzz of the centre of Camberwell and Peckham (both 10/15 minutes walk away). Bellenden Road only 5 minute walk away which has butchers, grocers, independent cafes and shops. The railway arches under Peckham rye station have a couple of breweries, yoga studio and local markets.

The popular Bussey building and Copeland park are also 10minute walk away with more bars, restaurants and studios.

As well as a great surrounding area it is very well connected by bus and train so travel around London can be done easily without needing to use underground / tube (if you do not wish to).

There are two stations in easy walking distance:

- 10 minute walk from Peckham rye station. Regular direct trains to London Bridge (15minutes), Victoria (15minutes) and Shoreditch High (20 minutes)

- 15mins walk to Denmark Hill station (1 stop from Victoria station, 10minutes)

Multiple, overground train lines reach both stations.

Several direct buses to many parts of London including direct buses to Waterloo and Oxford Circus less than 10minute walk away.
