Flatmate wanted: Room in 2 bed flat available overlooking Atlantic Wharf.

Hi there,

Due to a previous flatmate moving out in order to maintain the tenancy I am looking for someone to fill the room and take over the other half of the rent. I’ve spoken to the landlord and they were happy for me to go ahead and try and find another tenant, so I’m advertising here.

Some things about the property:


● Excellent location for both work or uni - less than 5 minutes walk to University of South Wales, 15 minutes walk to Cardiff Central Station/City Centre, or 20 minutes walk to Cardiff University student’s union. About 10 minutes walk to Cardiff bay. Easy access via car onto the M4 or Newport Road.

● Off road car parking space included in the price
● Large shared living room with table/workspace area, and a lounge area
● Large functional kitchen with hob, fridge/freezer, microwave etc
● Flat layout is more traditional with hallway connecting several rooms (as opposed to a studio flat layout) so it won’t feel like we’re living on top of each other
● Responsive and friendly landlady - she’s happy to take a phone call and generally solves problems quickly
● Twin sized bed in a reasonably large room with excellent storage space for clothes etc.
Bathroom recently done up.

Cons:
● The flat does not have central heating which means that the electric bill is slightly higher than normal.

My name is Rhiannon and work as a legal assistant so I’m out of the flat 9-5.
I enjoy nights out and in (both involving rum), films, and music. I am a quiet and tidy housemate.
