lesmahagow within the beautiful rolling hills of the Lanarkshire countryside in Scotland. This tranquil one bedroom has a single bed, dresser, TV and sofa. There is also WIFI access to the internet from your room.

About the Location:
Located in South Lanarkshire, Lesmahagow is approx 18 miles south of Glasgow City and 32 miles from the east coast of Edinburgh. The border of Scotland & England is only a 68 mile drive via the M74. It is located at Junction 10 of the M74 and is a quiet rural village with a conservation main street. Lesmahagow is central to the three main airports, which are easily accessed, Glasgow International via the M74 is approx 20 minutes, Glasgow-Prestwick, approx 40 minutes and Edinburgh International is about 45 minutes..

About your accommodations:
The appartment is bright, open and spacious, you have your own bathroom next to your room to help you relax after a day of sight seeing and shopping or what ever you please. You are welcome to share our front room where you can curl up in our large leather armchairs infront of the Tv with a cup of tea or coffee. There are great views from the large windows in the front room down into the village high street where you can go for walks or hike trails.

Your Hosts:
JHM Global is a Christian Missions based Ministry whose quiet offices accommodate the top floor of the appartment. You will be sharing the accommodation with three female members of the JHM team who will be happy to host you, make you welcome and point out the local amenities. As your hosts we will provide you with a continental breakfast in the kitchen each morning. There is a prayer schedule in the house which you are welcome to join in the mornings or evenings. We can also provide you with a menu of one evening meal every day, all we ask is that you let us know each day if you will be back for supper or not. Other than that, you will have no other disturbance from us unless you need or request us in which case we will be happy to help.

About the neighborhood & Transportation:
The neighborhood is quiet and everything is extremely close at hand. There is a bus stop right outside the appartment with regular buses that will take you to all the neighbouring villages and larger towns, as well as one that will take you to the nearest train station. But if the city is where you're headed, there is also a bus that will take you straight to the city of Glasgow.

Amenities:
There is one library in the village with computers and internet access, a Tourist Resource centre, two local supermarkets, pharmacy, hair salons, beautician, grocers and banks for all your other needs.
In case of emergencies there is a Doctors office close by and dental surgery as well as a police station and two hospitals within 15 mins. There is one old pub in the village, a fish and chips shop and other fast food eateries. But in the nearby towns of Lanark, Carluke and Hamilton, you will find plenty of choice with Greek, Italian, Chinese and American restaurants to choose from.
