My flatmate is moving out and I am looking for someone to move in to sublet for June and then sign the new lease that starts in July. The flat is a 2 bed next to New Cross Station. It's on the top floor (second), but there is no lift so not wheelchair accessible.
There is a large shared living room and kitchen as well as a balcony (with a hammock) with views of London. The building also has a back patio. The kitchen is well stocked with plates/utensils/kitchen gadgets which you are welcome to use or bring your own. The room itself comes furnished with a bed/mattress and a wardrobe.
There are plenty of transport links nearby. New Cross Station is around the corner, about 2 min walk away with trains to London Bridge and Cannon Street as well as the overground. Deptford Station is about 8 mins walk and Deptford Bridge DLR is about 10 mins walk.
It would be great to live with a professional adult who has friends and a life in London already. Someone who will naturally keep the house clean and tidy. It’s also the sort of house where hopefully you don't mind sharing some stuff and don’t get angry if you take a few slices of bread or ‘borrow’ some milk etc but we don’t take the mick either.
I'm looking to have someone I get on well with, occasionally have dinner and a beer together but equally has their own life.
A little about me -
I'm originally from the states but have been living in London for over 7 years now. I enjoy baking and cooking so would like to have dinner sometime and someone who would enjoy taste testing my baked goods. I equally love a night out and at the pub but also a night in watching trashy tv.
Rent for June is £715 and may go up for July but still waiting to hear back from the landlord. Not expecting it to go up much!
Bills -
Wifi: £18.50/month
Water: £14.50/month
Council Tax: £66/month
Gas and Electricity are pay as you go but usually ends up around £40 each a month
TV License: £20/every 3 months
If you like the idea of this and think you’ll fit, send me a message and please send a little about yourself straight away. Thanks :)
