Hi there!

We are looking for someone to take my room while I am away writing up my PhD thesis, ideally from early May through end of August, but I can be flexible. The rent is 545 a month without bills. Including bills, the total cost for a summer month should come up to around 650.

- Bedroom: The room is fully furnished and on the first floor facing the entrance of the house.

- The house has two floors. An open-concept kitchen living room with plenty of natural light and beautiful views to our garden (where eventual summer bbq's may happen!), a service toilette and a bedroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom. You can see more details about the house and the rooms in the pictures.

- The other three flatmates are a mix of mature students and young professionals. One Japanese girl, one Indian girl, and a Brazilian guy. We like to socialise during meal hours in the living room, but are really respectful about quiet time to sleep and rest. We like to keep our common areas clean and tidy, even though we are not really obsessive about it. We are all vaccinated and this is an lgbtq+ friendly house if this is something you are wondering about.

- Both Oxford Brookes University and JR Hospitals are a short (5 minute) walk from the house. If you are doing research at University of Oxford instead, buses (or a bike) will take you downtown in 10 to 15 minutes, or if the weather allows it, it is about 30 minutes to walk over there across some parks and lively streets. There is a stop with plenty of buses not only to the city centre, but also to London and the airports, just 1 minute away from our house. And just a 10-minute-walk away is Headington Shops, with almost any store you can imagine. Additionally, South Park is just a couple minutes away, with an amazing view of the whole city, perfect for picnic sunsets and late afternoon walks.
