Double room available to let in big family house. Bills included (unless you go wild with heating) and shared food/eating possible. Decent internet, central heating (and woodburners in a couple of the shared rooms). Good laundry and cooking facilities. Small fold-down work desk in the room.

Plenty of parking, and excellent access to M6 and other routes: Kendal, Penrith, Sedbergh and Appleby all less than 20 minutes. Lakes, Dales and Pennines all easily accessible if you're outdoorsy (and we have a drying room for your gear) .

Friendly household - four adults and a dog - situated in nice village setting, would suit professional person. Great views onto the Howgills, nice quiet village. One adult working from home, mostly full time, in separate area of house to the living area. Others all working/studying with a mixture of home and away working.

Short term lets, couples, five day weeks, separate work/sitting room, food, etc. all up for discussion (with possible price variations).

We are a mostly vegetarian household but happy to share with meat-eaters too.
