I have three furnished rooms to rent in this mid-terrace house in Lewis Street, Stoke-on-Trent. Lewis Street is very quiet and convenient for the station, Stoke town centre, Staffs university and the bus route to Keele University. The rooms are fitted out for student / professional use (with desks) - so professionals or students are welcome. There is a shared lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
The house is high on security (although this is a good area) with bars on the rear downstairs windows and an alarm system. Each room has its own lock (as well as front and back door locks).
There is a gas fired hot water and central heating, electric cooking, a fridge-freezer, and a washing machine. The room rent includes reasonable use of gas and electricity, plus council tax and water rate. There will be Virgin internet and TV connected, with a basic model TV.
There is a secure rear yard with high walls.
The largest room is a double, the weekly rent for a single person is £75 per week but for a couple will be £90 per week.
Payment would either be weekly or monthly at your preference. Monthly rates are weekly times 12 months in a year divided by 52 weeks in a year. I have quoted for bills included room rates but would be happy to discuss other options, e. g. on energy and/or internet/TV, or for a whole house rate.
The deposit (returnable) is £150.
