Hi, we're Rich and Kerri, and we’re looking for someone to join us in our home, as our outgoing housemate (Christina) is moving to London. I (Rich) have been living here for almost 5 years and Kerri has been here a year, so we’re both seasoned locals.

We currently have one double bedroom available for someone to move into (largest in the house, with high ceilings and a double bed, overlooking the garden) any time from August 23rd onwards. The bedroom is located on the first floor, as is a bathroom shared with one other bedroom. In keeping with the communal feel, the rent and bills are all split equally, and we like to keep things simple by operating with a shared pantry. In total, the house has 3 toilets and 2 bath/showers across 3 floors. Downstairs, we've got an open plan kitchen/living space, and an extra storage room/office to keep things tidy. We also have a newly-green garden and plenty of room for bikes out back in a secure shed.

A bit about us… Kerri is currently doing a PhD in linguistics and has been in Cambridge since 2017. I studied engineering at university and have been living in the city since 2012. Since then I've been working as an innovation consultant. Both of us enjoy cooking and having group meals together, and we’ve recently started growing our own herbs and vegetables in the garden (with varying degrees of success), so if you’re green-fingered, you’ll be welcomed with open arms! Aside from that, our biggest interests are cooking, running, cycling, board games, football, music, hiking & good pubs. We're a friendly pair with good knowledge of the city and we’re keen to welcome a new person into our home.

The property is let to us "unfurnished”. However, we furnished the house 5 years ago and the departed housemates have passed it on for free. The house is let to us on a rolling 1-year deal that renews in mid-September. We’re looking for someone to take over Christina's share of the lease, although there can be some flexibility on dates.

The house is located a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre, with on-street & driveway parking. The location is great with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, just a few minutes from the river.
