Hi! I am Claire, a 24 year old PhD student looking for a housemate. I am a friendly, relaxed housemate who respects personal space. I have lived here for a year now and love the house. I work long days in the lab and then usually do a couple of hours work in the evenings, then watch tv and kick back.

I am looking for a mature postgraduate student/professional looking for a lovely period character home rather than 'student house'. Looking for someone who will respect the house and keep it clean and homey.

It is a lovely furnished home: cosy living room, beautiful kitchen diner, yard to rear with outdoor furniture. The house is big enough to provide personal space. All rooms are bright and airy with huge windows. Utility room and downstairs toilet as well as downstairs study.

The available double bedroom has a king size bed - you can also use the spare single bedroom (has triple wardrobe) as a dressing room/office.

15 minute walk to town, 15 minute walk to science site, 10 minute walk to business school.

I love going for walks, going out for meals and to local pubs. The house is in a beautiful part of Durham - very close to the old Durham railway footpaths for hours of gorgeous walking and cycling!

Move in date: I am looking for someone to move in January but this is not strict.
