Hello, I’m a recent graduate who plans to move out on the start of July 2024. I’ve really loved living in this apartment, so please read the full description if you’re interested and a female.

Please don’t hesitate to message for more details/pictures.

Location:
📍 The building is located 4 min walk from the Jubilee station and 9 min walk from Elizabeth line station in Canary Wharf.

Located right behind the building is South Quay DLR station, 2 min walk from the building.

The route to the building from both underground stations is very safe as there is always security around the area, so it’s perfect for young females coming home late from class or work. This is one of the factors to why I chose this flat over others.

If you work in one of the many office buildings in CF, the location of my building is extremely strategic.

🛒 🛍️ There are multiple grocery stores nearby, closest being a small Tescos located adjacent to the apartment, 1 min walk.

In Jubilee Place mall across the bridge from the building has an M&S grocery store 3 min walk. (Connected to the station so it’s an easy stop to make to and from your errands)

In Canada Place, located between Jubilee and Elizabeth line stations has Waitrose, Tian Tian (large Asian supermarket) and Sainsbury’s.

💪 There is a medium sized gym in the building next door (same complex) where you can pay £30 pm, including a swimming pool.

If you’re into gymming more seriously, Thirdspace is in Canada Place mall, 8 min walk away. Nuffield Health on Baltimore Wharf is also a 9 min walk away, in the opposite direction. Lastly, Pure Gym 10 min away using the DLR for 1 stop to West India Quay.

Building details:

👩🏻‍💼👨🏽‍💼 The building itself has a 24/7 receptionist, so you’ll never have to be home to receive packages and if there’s ever an immediate issue the staff are very helpful.

👫 The neighbours on the floor are very quiet, the sound proofing is good in this building. So you won’t be bothered at night.

🗑️ There is a bin room on the ground floor next to the back exit of the building, easily accessible from the floor via elevator.

Common Space:

👩‍🍳 The kitchen has a spacious fridge and a freezer compartment at the bottom. 2 section oven with a lot of different settings. 4 flat hobs that are very easy to clean and quick to heat things up. A very handy microwave is also available. The kitchen has a medium sized dishwasher and the washing machine is located in the corner.

Full dining utensils, plates, bowls and cooking equipment (knives, pans, etc.) come with the flat.

📦 There’s a small storage closet where there is an ironing board and a vacuum. Enough space to fit a large & small suit case inside.

🏙️ The balcony is quite large and has a small table with 2 chairs. This flat is faced to get the morning sun, and I enjoyed having my daily coffee outside in the Spring/Summer time. Your soon to be flat mate occasionally paints outside too.

🛋️ The living room is very spacious with comfy couches, pillows and blankets. There is a TV, however it is not connected therefore no TV tax! I’ve used an HDMI cable to connect my laptop to watch films/series.

The open plan of the flat’s common space connects the dining area which has a glass table with 4 recently upgraded chairs. The landlord has just brought them at the start of the year.

There are cubbies around the television (see in photos) that will be largely emptied when I move out. Therefore, you will have space to keep your stationary and other items there.

🧥👟 In the entrance hall there is a shoe cabinet that my roommate and I have split. Therefore you’ll be allocated 4 cubbies fit for 8-10 pairs of shoes. As well as a slot at the bottom for high boots/high heels.

There is a clothing rack that I’ve put together a few months after moving in for outerwear, There is a small shelf at the bottom that fits either more shoes or whatever you’d like.

Room details:

🛏️ The bed is a double, with a mattress & frame that comes with the flat.

🗄️ There are 2 small bedside cabinets on each side that also work as a table. There are 2 compartments on each.

There is one large closet that has 3 sections, a shelf (ideal for suitcases or less used items like bedding), a hanger and a pull out drawer at the bottom. The doors of the closet also have 4 bars on the inside where you can hang scarves, dresses etc.

There is one tall but smaller sized cabinet with 4 drawers and 2 thin drawers.

🪞There is a large mirror in the room for you to use as well.

📐 There is a lot of space in front of the bed to the door, so you’ll never feel cramped. As well as relatively high ceilings as well. The window is opens above the head of the bed, so it’s easy to air out the room.

The room is white with light coloured furniture, so whatever things you have it’s easy to decorate. It also keeps the room feeling bright despite the darker London weather.

Private Bathroom details:

🛁 Unlike my roommate, the bathroom has a tub and shower.

🧼 The sink area is extremely spacious with cubby holes in the walls. The brown boxes came with the flat, so you’ll have organisers to keep your stuff.

📐 The bathroom is the largest I’ve ever had, not just in London but in the other places I’ve lived in. It’s got great lighting as well to make getting ready easy.

The bathroom came with the laundry basket so you won’t need to purchase one when moving in.

Your new flatmate!
My roommate is an introverted and sweet, young adult female. She currently works in the fashion industry. She enjoys dance classes, painting and watching her favourite shows.

Roommate requirements:

- accountable and contributes to keeping common spaces tidy
- females preferred
- guarantor needed or working
- references from past landlords

After meeting you and viewing the flat, I will let you know if I believe you’d be a good fit for my flatmate. If you don’t meet my flatmate during the viewing, I’ll let you know another time to come back and meet her.
