Hello! I'm looking for a long-term housemate for a large double bedroom in this lovely two bed home in Highbury.

Important Info
---
• Rent is £1,100 a month and bills are around £195 (Including a cleaner every week)
• No couples, sorry
• Move-in date is flexible from May
• The room is unfurnished (slightly flexible)
• Pets welcome!

House Details
---
The house is incredibly bright and spacious, with 1,000 sqft. split over two and a half floors. It has a big living / dining room, a second living room / snug, a walk-in pantry, a separate kitchen, a terrace, and a big attic. It's filled with art, plants, books, board games, and lots of other nice things. The kitchen is stocked with loads of great kitchenware, and comes with dishwasher, tumbledryer etc.

I've lived in this house for five years but I'm very mindful about how important it is to feel like a shared space, and so I'm always open and receptive to ideas and collaboration!

The spare room is a big double bedroom. It comes unfurnished, though I have some extra furniture (including a bed) that's up for sale.

Transport Links
---
The transport links are great. It's less than a ten minute walk to Highbury & Islington tube station with the Victoria line, National Rail, and Overground, and a ten minute walk to Arsenal tube station for the Picadilly line. There's also the 4 and 19 buses to central from just outside the house.

The Area
---
The local area has a great cheesemongers, a health food store, an organic grocers, an Italian deli, and nice restaurants all on the doorstep. The front of the house looks onto a courtyard which is full of trees and flowers come Spring, and we're only a few minutes walk away from Highbury fields, Clissold park, and other nice, green spaces.

About Me
---
I moved to London in 2011 for university and have lived here ever since! I work as an engineer at Spotify now, where I work most days of the week from home. I spend a lot of my personal time working on creative projects but aside from that I like things like art, cooking, reading, philsophy, live music, cinema, yoga, and running.

I'm looking for a housemate who's friendly, clean, and respectful of the space. Someone who's looking for a home, not just a house -- having a good connection is really important for me, and I'm looking for someone sociable who's open to hanging out together in and outside of the flat on occasion. For me, being emotionally open and honest is a requirement to being able to live together harmoniously, and I fit best with people who are equally open to having respectful, constructive chats about how best we can live together.
