Large double room available in 1st floor flat in Archway, North London - £520/month + bills (around £100/month).

Flat consists of an open-plan living room/kitchen area, with two bedrooms, bathroom/toilet and a balcony for summer cocktails and BBQs. Unfortunately, I couldn't get pictures of the bedroom before my current housemate filled it with boxes full of his stuff ready to move, so photographs of the room itself are a bit redundant at the moment (it looks more like a warehouse), but if you really want pictures I'm happy to take them for you and send them on. Suffice to say it's quite a large room, with a double bed and wardrobe and all the usual things you would expect to find in a bedroom. You'll just have to come and have a look at it! :)

Flat has all the usual things: things to make your food hot or cold, things to make your clothes or yourself wet, things to keep you warm or keep you cool (i. e, windows), things to help prevent you getting bored.

Conveniently situated about 3 minutes walk from Archway tube station (Northern Line, Zone 2/3 border), from where there's also a million buses that will also take you to wherever you might need to go (off the top of my head, we get the numbers 43, 17, 271, 340, 134, 4, C11 and probably a dozen more). There's also Upper Holloway overground station about 5 minutes walk away, and a nearby bus stop that can scoot you to the West End within 30 minutes, 24 hours/day.

There are plenty of shops on the main road, with a Sainsbury's close by, and the flat itself is perched above a 24-hour off-licence/grocers (which I thought would be a bit odd at first, but is actually one of the most convenient things about the place).

You'd be sharing with just one other person: me (and I'm not the landlord - just another tenant). So a bit about me: I'm a 32 year-old mature student studying Software Engineering at the nearby London Metropolitan University. Gay (obviously). Am quite a bit of a geek, so enjoy all the usual geek things, like sci-fi, games, etc. Dip in and out of "The Scene" depending on the weather. Prefer a friendly house where we can socialise and chat together rather than just keeping to ourselves.

Room is available from 1st July. I actually had someone who was going to take the room, but they pulled out just a couple of days ago, so the closer to that date you could move in the better, but any time up until mid-July is do-able.
