Lovely, bright double bedroom to let. This is the ground floor reception room of our Edwardian house so the dimensions are generous. The room is furnished with a sofa, TV (with Netflix/Amazon etc) and double bed with excellent mattress and new pillows as well as plenty of storage. A desk can be provided if required.
The room has a private WC across the hallway and use of the large shared bathroom to the first floor (with shower and bath). The large kitchen is well equipped and spacious - dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Tenant is welcome to use all equipment and we are generally very laid back and enjoy seeing what other people are cooking!
We're a family with school age children so have welcomed lodgers who are after somewhere to study or professionals who want a nice place to relax at the end of the day. It's very much not a party house but we are friendly and sociable and enjoy sharing our home with others.
Location wise we are in a quiet, residential neighbourhood and are close to Media City, Salford University, Salford Royal Hospital and there are frequent buses to central Manchester (about 15 minutes away). We're lucky to have two lovely parks on our doorstep too. There is a double driveway if you have a car. Outside we have a sunny peaceful garden and large brick shed that can be used for storage of bikes etc.
All bills are included - we have some requests about being sensible with energy usage but nothing extreme. The house is warm and comfortable!
Happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
