You will be sharing the flat with two very chilled, really nice guys. There's a really good dynamic to the flat and its always a pleasure to hang out here. Most evenings we'll be cooking, watching TV and chilling out. We also like to grab a game of squash, covid regs permitting, and we're always up for going for a cycle, or to watch the football/rugby.
Although we're definitely looking for a flatmate that’s going to want to hang out, we both have our own lives and appreciate the need for downtime too. The room is the largest of the 3 bedrooms with a king size bed and a really high ceiling.
The flat is quite unique as a rental property as it spans two stories. The massive kitchen/dining area/living room is downstairs (photographs don't do it justice) and the three bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet are upstairs.
The flat feels generally very homely! The kitchen is very modern and comes with everything incl. dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. There is a nice big comfy 'L' sofa you can fit about 6 people on, and a wide screen TV. We're also really lucky to have a big garden for BBQs in the summer!
We're both currently working from home and we have good, reliable wifi on both floors so no worries re: working remotely.
The room is £720 per month and bills come to around £80 per month. This includes council tax, and our brilliant cleaner, Tatyana who comes every fortnight. Not only does she clean the whole place, including your room if you leave the door open, but she also irons any shirts you need for work!
Location:
The flat is easily under a 1 minute walk to Earlsfield station and is just across the street from a Sainsburys local and roughly 2 min from a Tesco. Trains are 5 minutes to Clapham Junction (1 stop), 10 min to Vauxhall for the Victoria line (2 stops) and 15 min to Waterloo (3 stops). It is also just 1 stop to Wimbledon (<5min). Trains run every 3 minutes or so. It is a 15 min walk to Southside shopping centre, which has all the high street shops, restaurants and a huge cinema. There are also a lot of great restaurants and pubs; you can take your pick for your local with The Wandle, The Halfway house and The Earlsfield - good quizzes and pizza - close by and some great places to grab brunch on the weekend.
We'd ideally prefer another male housemate to keep the current dynamic going.
