If you prefer privacy, comfort, luxury, laid back atmosphere, historic location and period features, you will like my home in the heart of Poets Corner.

In addition to a large living space, high ceilings, grand fire place, piano, fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, Smeg appliances, full size dishwasher and unlimited high fibre broadband my flat has a unique musical history as well. I have a cleaner too and she is brilliant.

You will also share a large private south facing garden.

My flat is 4 mins walk from Acton Central station (Overground line), under 15 mins walk from Acton Town (Piccadilly and District lines) and Acton Main station (Crossrail and GWR).

I normally commute through Acton Central, it takes me 45 minutes to Canary Wharf, for example. Notting Hill, Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Fulham are short and easy commute as well.

I am a live-in landlord and a banker by profession. I enjoy my own space, peace, quite and privacy so am looking for a lodger who respects boundaries when sharing.

You will be a pet person too, I have a cat and a miniature chihuahua. They are both quiet, friendly, well behaved and get on well with people and other pets.

Your room comes fully furnished and with two sets of bedding as well. I ask for a security deposit and rent paid monthly. There is no contract tieing you in - you can give me one month's notice or I can give you one month's notice respectively, I appreciate integrity and trust above all. The room is available initially as a short let (3 - 6 months) with a possibility to extend to 1 year as well.

I will also consider part-time tenants. If, for example, you work in London, live outside the city and need a room only during the week, the rent can be negotiated accordingly.

Poets Corner is surrounded by parks, private bakeries, cafes, private butchers, organic shops, health stores, restaurants, wine bars and gourmet pubs. Acton park, with a popular Putt in the Park mini golf course, is around the corner and there are many gym facilities too, including luxurious David Lloyd’s gym and TriYoga studios.
