We would like to offer this low rent for an NHS worker or trainee teacher in a state school as a thank-you for their services. Having looked at other similar, local rooms, we think this rent reflects a significant discount from what we could be charging. It includes all bills: gas/electric/internet/council tax and cleaner. For the right person, we would negotiate on rent.

The flat is a 10 minute bus ride to Brixton station or 10 walk to Streatham Hill or 20 minute walk to Tulse Hill. It's about 5-10 mins walk from Brockwell Park.

The room has a double bed, shelves, chest of drawers and a wardrobe and still has lots of space, if the tenant wanted to add a desk.

I am a live-in landlord. I live with my boyfriend in this 3 bedroom house. We share one room, we're advertising the second and the third, which is smaller, is currently being used as an office. We have a cat and hens, who live in our garden.

We are both professionals and, generally, busy during the day but around in the evenings. We like to relax by walking to the park, playing with the cat, chilling in front of TV, playing games and, occasionally, have friends over for some dinner/drinks - not into big parties at ours though! There are some local pubs, which we would love to try out with a tenant, if they are keen. We don't have a regular schedule but would be keen to have a housemate join us for dinner, drinks or takeaway once a week or more, but ok if they want to do their own thing too, of course! We don't smoke. I'm veggie, but we are happy to have meat-eaters around and using the kitchen. Happy to host shift-workers - we won't be noisy, if you need to sleep in the day!
