It is under 20 minutes drive to Bath University, Claverton Campus, (7.9 miles) and a 5 minute drive to Bath Spa University, Newton Park Campus. In the other direction it is a 22 minute drive to Bristol University. (Times can vary according to traffic conditions)

The University of Bristol Boat Club is based in Saltford and only a 5 minute walk away – perfect for those early morning starts! Bristol Avon Sailing Club is also based by the river down the road.

There are plenty of buses running regularly throughout the day and night from Saltford to the centre of Bath taking 17 minutes as well as a 30 minute bus trip to the centre of Bristol.
