The room
A furnished single room is available with: bed, desk, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Whilst the room is very pleasant, south facing, clean and bright, it is small, so it may suit a student or professional without heaps of stuff.

The house
The house is three minutes walk from Lewes station and the Depot cinema. It is in a quiet cul de sac next to a nature reserve. The house is a small two-bedroom property which is clean and bright throughout. It has recently been redecorated and all furniture is in very good condition. You will have access to: lounge/diner, kitchen, small front garden (soon to include a permanent seating area) plus communal washing lines and bike park.

The landlord
I completed a PhD at University of Brighton and I now work for a charity. I usually stay in London with my partner for at least part of the week. He sometimes visits Lewes too. We are a quiet, friendly couple who enjoy chilling out in Sussex - going out for walks, drinks and meals.

About you
I am looking for someone who is tidy, friendly and considerate and who will look after the room and the property. You might be a mature or postgraduate student or a professional.

As I frequently stay in London, you will often have the whole house to yourself. You can either stay Mon- Fri or seven days a week. I have always lived with housemates so am very used to sharing living spaces.
