I'm looking for a friendly and respectful human to share a part furnished 2 bed basemant flat with me in Hove, the deposit is £663 the double bedroom to rent is unfurnished and £600 with bills coming to around £150 (water, gas, Internet, electricity, council tax included)

The contract is flexible for either 6/12 months and I'm definitely hoping to stay here as long as I can as I have made it my home.

References will be required and go through Goodlord - they were super friendly and helpful first time round for me.

The flat is just off Palmera Square in Hove under 10 minutes to a small tesco and sainsbury, a large green space and the sea!
It's about a 20/25 minute walk to town, with a bus stop 5 minutes walk away.

A bit about me :) I use Eko more than my given name (Shenika) but it will appear on official documents so this is a heads up!

I'm an introverted crafty, book loving, cake baking, friendly queer bean.

Im looking for someone who will take care of our home and keep it a safe space, all
I ask that communal areas are to be kept nice and tidy I'm pretty easy going with just about everything else!

I am mostly veggie and ok with meat in the house.

I'm up for fun flatmatey things/cooking/movies and crafting.

I come with a sewing machine, lots of crafty bits and bobs and plants! I have recently become a plant mum and I'm living for it.

Access to flat

Side entrance down 18 stairs and then a short walk to the front door that leads into the kitchen.

The kitchen is in good condition and some renovation is due (replastering walls).
Includes a small fridge, a fair amount of cupboard space and has 2 windows one being part of the main door both letting in loads of light.
Comes with most major kitchen and baking appliances as well as lots of baking tins/moulds, a gas hob and electric fan oven! This is always a big one for me as I am a chef!

Through to the living room I have 2 decent sized sofas for a basement flat this room gets a lot of light in, with the windows south facing, I'm very happy to make this a nice communal area and will make space for your bits and bobs to adorn the bookshelf wall!

The living room leads on to the hall which houses a small but decent washing machine and freezer. I'm hoping to put in some shelves on top of these guys to use it as a dry store/extra food cupboard.

To the right is my room which shares a wall with the kitchen and is on the East of the flat, on the opposite side is the room up for grabs, as they are quite far away from each other there is a fair bit of privacy ensured.

The bathroom/toilet have recently been done up and is in good condition there is a bath tub with a really powerful shower head and a bit of storage space above the toilet.

My current flatmate is using the space between the hall and the second set of stairs (17 steps) as an office space.

The stairs lead up to a little nook that I would like to make into a little quiet space to read in, curl up and relax which is open to all, alternatively more storage space.
