We have a beautiful, south-facing, room available on the top floor of our house, which is located 1.1 miles (a flat 20-25 min walk / 7 min cycle) from the City Centre and on the edge of Clifton Village, overlooking the river Avon. Bristol University is within walking distance.

The room has amazing views over the river Avon, the lock into the Floating Harbour, and Ashton Court (including the hot air balloon ascents). It is light and airy and furnished to a very high standard, with a double bed and memory foam mattress, chest of drawers, wardrobe, mirror, bedside table, lamp, travel kettle (on request) and occasional chair or desk and chair (depending upon what you need). A mini fridge and microwave oven can also be provided. The room is location on the top floor and is very private and quiet.

We have "superfast" broadband and a POE system installed so the connection is consistent and reliable, even with multiple users.

The room shares a shower room with one other bedroom on the same floor and the laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are on the floor below.

The kitchen is well-equipped, with a dishwasher, range cooker, ninja foodie pressure cooker / slow cooker, ninja blender, ice machine, three ovens and a microwave. We also have bike storage and a front courtyard with plenty of space to park e-scooters, scooters and motorbikes. There is also a pretty courtyard garden with a hot tub, seating, and table tennis table which we use in Summer months.

We are a professional couple in our early 40's (lawyer and finance), with a 20-year-old son, cat, and a small (very friendly!) dog. We have successfully had lodgers for many years.

It's a fairly quiet house though the week as we are working (often from home). We're sociable and friendly and always happy to chat over a glass of wine in the kitchen or garden. The house is spread over four floors which means that privacy is good and noise not an issue.

Please note that we are in a Resident's Parking Zone. Provided your car is registered to the address, you can get a Resident's Permit (you would need to pay Bristol City Council's fee). For non-residents, you can park from 7pm-9am Mon-Fri. If parking outside these hours, you can "feed the meter" for a maximum 3 hours, with the first 30 minutes free.
