We have a huge luxurious ensuite double room available from mid-January 2022 in a newly refurbished modern red brick terraced house in SE16.

It's an ensuite room that occupies the entire third floor of the house.

The house has five bedrooms, a large open plan living room/kitchen, and a second separate kitchen (please see floorplan). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom or is an ensuite. There is a sizeable garden for BBQs, and a shared motorcycle garage for general storage.

The house is very close to the Thames, so there are spectacular views of Tower Bridge less than 30 metres from the house. Bermondsey tube station is around a five minute walk from the house. The area also has a Sainsbury's Local within a couple of minutes walk, Tesco Extra (near Canada Water), and is rich in culture and history (the Mayflower pub is close by, which was the original mooring point of the Pilgrim Fathers' Mayflower ship back in the 16th century).

The housemates are all young professionals from a wonderful mix of international backgrounds (Ireland, Brazil, Spain, and the UK) working in finance, business development, and hospitality.

The kitchens are fully equipped with a gas (or induction) hob, double oven, and several large fridges and freezers. The living room area has a 58 inch Samsung Smart TV, coffee table and two large Chesterfield sofas, along with a separate dining table and benches.

The huge ensuite bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables, large desk, and a large wardrobe. We're very flexible on furnishings, so would be very happy to cater to your preferences.

All bills are included in the rent. Superfast Virgin Media fibre-optic broadband (350 Mbps) is also included. We would also be happy to pay for a cleaner to clean the shared areas of the house on a weekly basis.

The room for single occupancy is £1,352 pcm (or £312 per week), with all bills included. For double occupancy (couples), the room would be £1,500 pcm (or £346 per week), also with all bills included.

We are the owners of the house, so you'd be dealing directly with the landlord, and there are no hidden charges whatsoever.

No (permanent) pets please.
