Hello to all spare-roomers!!

Looking for a lovely double room in an even lovelier house less than 10 minutes away from Elephant & Castle station?

Well, look no further!

We are five friends (and housemates) who will soon become four, as I am unfortunately leaving London... but that means there's a chance you (!) could become the new fifth housemate! Yes, this is your chance... so carpe diem, my friend!! ;P

The rent is £750 pcm, all bills/tax included. The move in date is March 1st. We have the fastest internet out there (or at least that's what I've been told :D) and a million and one TV channels, including Netflix.

The house itself comprises of three floors (ground, 1st, 2nd), 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one shower, one bath), a (huge) kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room and a backyard (with a barbecue no less).

Details about the area: Well, first of all, and not to be biased or anything but the area is fantastic! The house is 10 minutes away from Elephant and Castle station (Northern Line) and the closest bus station that connects with buses 1/N1, 53, 63/N63, 168, 172, 188, 363, 415, 453 is only 2 minutes away. Oxford Circus is 25 minutes by public transport and slightly less than an hour, if you fancy a walk.

There’s also a Tesco’s 5 minutes away, a Sainsburys and a LIDL 10 minutes away and a Tescos Superstore 15 minutes away. There’s also a Nando’s that’s only 10 minutes away, in case that’s your (guilty) pleasure.

As for the housemates, they are four friends that have lived with each other for months already and know each other’s quirks, so you don’t have to worry about any fights erupting out of the blue. They're all very friendly and welcoming, so this would also be a perfect opportunity for someone who's new to London and looking to meet people! But in case you like your alone time, fear not! All of the housemates have their own separate lives and schedules, so you also don’t have to worry about them stalking you. :P You’re free to socialize as much (or as little) as you want.

Speaking of which, we like to think that we’ve managed to keep a good balance between quiet time and partying so far. We like to do both but in moderation and we are always very respectful of each other and… well, the neighbors. We’re also very respectful of the house and especially the communal areas. We like to keep them clean and tidy, without resorting to Monica-like obsessive behavior of course!
