Howdy,

We (Connor & Hazel ) are looking for two kind, clean and sociable sorts to join us in our queer-friendly flat in Denmark Hill.

THE ROOMS:

Room 1:
The room is a double and comes furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, desk and a few other small bits and bobs. The room has really lovely afternoon light and is very loving of plants.

It's available from 23rd July and deposit is one month's rent.

Room 2:
The largest room (also a double) in the flat contains bed, large desk, giant wardrobe (mirrored for all your fashionistas out there) + additional rail. Morning light floods this room as it faces the direction of sunrise.

It's available from 1st August and deposit is one month's rent.

For anyone with their own furniture...we can walk you through what's staying and what's going during viewing and try our best to sort with the landlord a way of making room for your stuff.

Bills aren't included and come to roughly £90-100 a month

THE FLAT:

The rest of the flat is equally well-equipped with a big fancy fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer and a projector in the living room for film nights/disco visuals/dragula/bobs burgers. There are also two balconies on either side of the flat that let you chase the sun all day if you can't get outside. Our larger balcony also has bike storage.

There's also 2.5 bathrooms with bath/shower and just shower, for whatever genre of wash you're in the mood for.

THE LOCATION:

We're 10 mins walk from Denmark Hill station, 15 mins walk from Herne Hill and Loughborough Junction stations and a 15 min bus from Brixton Underground. All of which are on different train lines (shout out to anyone who thinks South London isn't well connected x )

For nightlife there's tons of pubs and restaurants in Camberwell (Hello Theo's! Hello Falafel & Shawarma!) and Herne Hill. We've got easy access to Peckham (one stop on the overground), Brixton, Central and East London for gigs, clubbing and the like.

You like parks? We have all the parks. Ruskin is just across the road, Brockwell is down the hill and if you're looking for a nice day out you can reach Dulwich Park/Sydenham Woods on foot.

To top it all off, there's a massive Sainsbury's 5 mins walk away, Lidl 20 mins away and a great corner shop.

THE HOUSEMATES:

Our two newbies will be sharing with two others: Connor (28 he/him) who is a music loving radio producer & Hazel (28 she/her) who is a book fiend working in the charity sector. As a flat we're pretty sociable, both inside and outside the flat, with regular dinners together, drinks and movie nights – and we're known for whipping up an excellent breakfast the morning after. As much as we enjoy a night out, we tend to keep things pretty quiet during the week as we all work full time and enjoy chilling out/socialising separately too.

YOU:
Priority to fellow queers but we're open to anyone over the age of 26/27. Unfortunately no Students.
