Double bedroom in nice garden flat in Riverside / Canton, just off Cowbridge Road East. It's a 10 minute walk (0.5 miles) from the Castle, so it's very convenient for all parts of the city centre, with equally easy access to Bute Park and Canton.

The room has two wardrobes, double bed with good quality mattress and a bedside table. People tell me the room is bigger in real life than in looks in the photos! There's a bookshelf in the lounge which you can use and space to bring some furniture of your own.

I live here with my dachshund cross, Charlie. You must like dogs to live here! He's fairly quiet, completely non-destructive, well trained and has a bladder of steel so no accidents. He also LOVES a game of fetch!

Small caged pets (eg hamsters) are welcome but no cats (I'm allergic) and no dogs (Charlie needs to be an only dog).

I did the whole university / professional job thing, but nowadays I run an award-winning artisan ice cream business from home. I'm always developing new flavours (especially in winter when things are quieter), so someone who likes ice cream and is willing to taste test would be a bonus - but it does also mean that I value a clean kitchen!

I'm fairly easy going as a flatmate. Looking for someone cheerful, who will tidy up after themselves and push a vacuum cleaner around periodically! No smoking indoors. No couples. Visiting friends and partners welcome within reason. Long or short term lets are welcome. I've got a lovely group of friends who are always open to meeting new people, so it would be a good option for someone who is new to Cardiff.
