There's a big very new-feeling shared kitchen with a sitting room area and my daughter says her existing flatmates have been great. This room, in a much sought after, private halls of residence is only available because she received a last minute offer of a room in university halls which was her preference. it really is as nice as it looks in the photos, including a big open atrium with chairs, tables & table tennis tables. The West Wing team have been great too, and will make you very welcome as they did my daughter.
