Looking for a lucky human to take over my peaceful, bright double room overlooking a private garden in a modern, newly refurbished two story flat (feels more like a house inside) in Tonbridge house, right in the heart of the cultural hub of Bloomsbury.

The room itself, although on the doorstep of the best London has to offer, is very quiet as it’s at the back, over the garden, and the whole flat is really sound proof due to new, heavy doors and proper brick walls. Tonbridge house is also on a quiet side-street, so there is barely any traffic noise. The other residents of the house are so friendly and carefully look after the front communal garden, so it is full of fig trees (one of which is right outside our door) roses, and tomato plants. Everyone says hello to each other in the mornings and theres a really homely sense of community. Truly a rare, quiet and friendly sanctuary in London’s cultural heart.

What’s more, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square and the cultural buzz of Soho is less than 10 mins cycle!

The big window and high ceilings give the room a great sense of space. Currently there is a very comfortable double mattress, chest of drawers and open wardrobe in the room, and plenty of space left over for a desk and shelving, and a full double bed, should you prefer a less monk-like style of sleeping ;) I can either leave the current furniture for you or leave the room unfurnished, whichever suits you!

The kitchen is fully equipped with a brand new oven, microwave oven, rapid heating hob, dishwasher, washer drier and fridge freezer, and has been, like the rest of the house, newly refurbished in an airy, modern style.

Your housemates are 3 lovely girls, studying at UCL. They are really friendly, caring people who will always lend a helping hand and be up for a chat and a drink, but also appreciate and are respectful of personal space, and have busy lives at uni, but are now in their second year so are leading peaceful, focused lives. The atmosphere of the house is therefore very calm and tranquil and would perfectly suit a conscientious student or a professional.

The price of £180 per week / £780 per month includes heating and electricity, only water and WiFi is addition, and comes to around £30 per month each.

I am I ideally looking for someone to have the room for the full 12 month contract (until September 2021) but may be able to be flexible with this. Our landlady is flexible too, allowing you to move out early as long as you find someone to fill your space (which will not be difficult, given the high demand to live in this popular area of London).

What’s more, our landlady is really friendly and readily available over WhatsApp, so she has fixed any problems within 24 hours, no hassle!

I will be doing a virtual tour of my home when I am back on Wednesday 23/9 plus a virtual 'meet my housemates', so that I can safely, easily, and fairly introduce everyone who is interested to this home! If you are interested, please message me and I will add you to my list of people to send this virtual tour. After sending out the virtual tour, those who are still interested will be able to FaceTime me on WEDNESDAY afternoon / evening to ask further questions and to meet my flatmates over FaceTime too if they are around.
