I’m renting a room in my two bedroom flat midweek only, ideal for commuters and those working hybrid - 30 minutes to Canary Wharf and around 40 to Liverpool Street & Farringdon.

The flat is a new build and is 5 minute walking distance to Dartford Station with great links into the City, including the Elizabeth line from Abbeywood.

There is a Co-Op and M&S Simply Food nearby, as well as a Snap Fitness gym just at the other end of the development. Dartford Town Centre is also just a 10 min walk away.

The room is a double, I currently have a day bed in there (single which pulls out to a double) and it has a desk and chair, mini wardrobe, storage space and a TV with Freeview. You will have sole access to the main bathroom while you stay which has a bath and shower.

I work from home on Fridays and travel into the City Monday-Thursday, usually home at around 7pm, though I’m often straight out again for a couple of hours. I’m an easy going, approachable person who respects privacy and expects the same in return - though always happy to have a chat after a long day in the office!

I’ve had two lodgers previously who it’s worked out great with, they’ve only moved on due to change in college/work placements. Hoping that I can find another it can work just as well with and ideally for a longer term.
