Hi there!
I'm genuinely very sad to be moving out of this place.
I've only been here for 8 months but in that time has felt more like a home than anywhere else I've been in London.
It's about a 5-minute walk from Dulwich Park and 10 minutes from Sainsbury's and Forest Hill Station.
About the Room:
It's huge. It's unfurnished, but I'm selling my bedframe, mattress and desk for 50 quid - nothing wrong with them at all I'm moving to another country and can't take them with me. There's an inbuilt closet and you'll be sharing a bathroom with one other person.
About the House:
In addition to the room, the ground floor offers an open plan kitchen/living room/dining room with french doors opening onto the garden. It also has a downstairs toilet and storage plus a large entrance lobby. You will have access to two private kitchen cupboards, a shelf in the fridge and a freezer drawer, plus use of all the usual white goods (dishwasher, washing machine/dryer etc.).
We also have a pretty nice private garden screened with large trees but with the heatwave recently the lawn is looking a little sad. Our landlady also provides a "site manager" called Paolo, who takes care of the house exterior (garden, window cleaning etc.) at no extra cost. If needed, he usually takes care of minor internal maintenance as well.
Charles Talbot Mews is a gated community down a private drive with 6 residential properties, just off Lordship Lane. Each house has solar panels which takes the edge off the energy bill and have become very useful lately. We have a parking space which is currently not occupied and a covered bike shed outside behind the gate. We also have a security system with alarm fobs but ultimately it is a very quiet and secure place to live.
About the housemates:
You'll be living with a couple Kate (24) and Connor (25). They're really fun, laid back and not 'couply' at all.
You'll also be living with Steph (28) who loves the gym, hanging out and getting a takeaway at the weekend. She works in fashion and we'll 100% fix your clothes if you promise to get her a Gail's in return.

I'm moving out in September so the room will be available from September 5th.
