Hi, we are delighted to offer a spacious private double room in our family home. The ensuite room is furnished with a double bed, mattress and built in wardrobe. You will have shared access to kitchen, dining area, laundry machine and our reception room. Our home is about 15 minutes walk to Heriot Watt university. The property also benefits from excellent public transport with both train station and a bus stop under 5 minute walk, operating regular services into Edinburgh or Glasgow.

I live here with my husband and 2 young children aged 7 and 4. We are a friendly young family with an active lifestyle. We enjoy socialising as much as giving each other space to relax. Our home is vibrant, jovial and (like any other home with young children) sometimes noisy but its warm, welcoming and safe. Both of us work full time in Edinburgh and benefit from hybrid working.

Who would be an ideal occupant - you will respect our family home. You shouldn’t mind living in a household with children. They will have friends over sometimes and we will have friends over but we will always aim to keep inconvenience to minimum. You are a Masters or PhD student at Heriot Watt university or in full time employment.

Due to security and privacy concerns for our children, no guests will be allowed.
