This is a two-bedroom 2nd floor flat located in Fountianbridge and the property has a communal garden and stairwell. 3 min walk to Haymarket station and 15 -20 min walk into town. Great location for anyone working within the city. Also you can catch a direct bus to Leith just across the street.


A little bit about myself; I work as an actor and voiceover artist. I enjoy playing music, writing, attending the theatre, socializing, and watching/participating in sport. I wouldn't call myself an introvert but I do enjoy my own company from time to time. I am a smoker (hopefully not for long) but all smoking is outdoors.

The double room that's advertised is very spacious, fully furnished, and has plenty of storage even enough to satisfy a touring Kardashian.

This flat is cozy and all I ask for is to be respectful and clean. I'm also looking for someone that doesn't work from home; when I do receive voiceover work, it is done within the flat in my bedroom. The microphone is extremely sensitive and will pick up external noises. But all this will be done within normal working hours 9-5. You may also hear me practicing monologues or doing vocal warm-ups in the shower, in case you might worry that I'm having an existential crisis.

The Room has a double bed, a desk, a bedside table, a functional sink (zero ideas on why, but handy) double glazed window, a wardrobe, a built-in walk-in wardrobe which the current flatmate has converted into a wee office area. 3 sliding doors can be attached if you'd prefer this to be reverted back into a wardrobe.

There is a living room which is always open to any friends who you chose to invite.

The kitchen only has one fridge/freezer but it'll be divided separately between us. Plenty of room for dry foods. The toilet is in a separate room to the shower room, which is very convenient from morning rountines.

The bills and council tax will be divided equally and on average it's around £135 pp pm.

The property is run by Southside Agency and references will have to be provided for a background check. The contract is a 'Shared Agreement' meaning if you leave, you'll be responsible for finding a new tenent; for this reason I'm looking for a long term flatmate.
