Affordable accommodation offered in HARROW ON THE HILL – HA2 area, excellent opportunity for a Female ONLY homesharer who is looking to live in a lovely home.

We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help, support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

TRANSPORT
Harrow-on-the-Hill is a London Underground station served by the Metropolitan line and National Rail services, in Travel card Zone 5. The stations two exits are located between College Road and Lowlands Road in the Greenhill area of Harrow,
Harrow on the Hill to Baker Street station is an approx. journey of 20 minutes and 26 minutes’ to King’s Cross station.
There are a number of bus routes with buses travelling to Watford, South Harrow and a number of other routes.
HOUSEHOLDER
The householder is a lovely lady in her 90’s and lives in a lovely spacious two bedroom ground floor flat in Harrow on the Hill, She has some mobility issues at times with reoccurring pain around her knew but can walk around the home with no aids and walk outside with two sticks.
She does enjoy watching films but can no longer go to the cinema on her own, she enjoys sitting in the dining room and looking outside her beautiful garden and watching the birds, she is a member of U3A (University of the Third Age) and runs a French conversation group for them, she speaks fluent French and is also learning Spanish, she likes to cook but cannot stand in the kitchen for long since she had a major spinal surgery in 2016.

The ideal candidate would be a kind and friendly female, someone who can integrate with the householder, who likes some companionship, someone who is calm, kind and helpful and also friendly.
ACCOMMODATION
Two bedroom spacious flat which is an approximate 15 minute walk to Harrow on the Hill station. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, shared bathroom, large sitting room and dining area, fully equipped kitchen.
The homesharer will have a small single bedroom, with a single bed, small washbasin, wardrobe, book shelves, dressing table, small table and chair. Small TV.
Internet is available.

The room is available immediately subject to DBS and Reference checks and after an initial meeting has been organised.
