One spacious, light room has become available in our lovely 5-bedroom queer-friendly Victorian houseshare in Herne Hill. 
 
The house is situated on a quiet, tree-lined street about 5 minutes’ walk from North Dulwich station and 12 minutes from Herne Hill. It is a no through road so the main traffic noises come from dog walkers, cyclists, and ducks setting off from the little park over the road. There is a good selection of cafés, takeaways, convenience shops and parks on our doorstep. Herne Hill is just down the road and Brixton and Peckham only a little further.
 
We are Alex, Dani, Emma and Matt - an architect, project manager, finance manager and software developer in our late 20s and early 30s. We get along really well and often spend time together in the evenings cooking and chatting, especially over the past year. We're now looking forward to getting out at the weekends again to the pub/gigs/exhibitions. (There are smokers in the house but we don't smoke inside)

We’d love to find a new housemate who enjoys a larger caring houseshare environment. The house is lovely and big, so we generally don't feel like we’re getting under each other’s feet. Most of us have been working from home during lockdown and we've rubbed along pretty well. We like to keep the house clean and tidy with a weekly cleaning rota. We're lucky enough to have a front and back garden too, so bonus points if you’ve got green fingers.
 
The landlord may allow pets, so people with pets (but not cats because of allergies in the house) are welcome to apply.
The room is at the back of the house and looks out on he garden so it's nice and peaceful at night. As a housemate you'll also benefit from good communal storage areas, plus a dishwasher and tumble dryer (we have a utility room!).

Bills come to around £100 per month, including council tax, water, gas, electricity, TV and internet, and there would be a £600 deposit payable when you first move in. 
 
The room is available from the 6 June but we don't need to fill it until 6 July so we're keen to find the right housemate.
