Hello home hunters! I have a room available in a 2 bed, 1 bath flat just steps off of Bermondsey Street and incredibly close to London Bridge station as well as the City.

THE FLAT:
Flat is a 2 bed split level with shared living area, modern kitchen including hob, oven, dishwasher and (clothes) washer, as well as recently updated bathroom. The room available is double size and is furnished with bedframe/mattress and dresser included. The room definitely has space to fit a desk in as well if you need/want work/study space.

Likewise, rest of flat is furnished with more decor to come. Water is included in the rent, and the rest of the utilities (council tax, broadband, TV license, electric/gas & monthly cleaner) average 150 GBP/month.

Note: Open to short or long term lets!

THE AREA:
Honestly this area is THE BEST with shops, cafes (not one but TWO Gail's cafes within 5 minutes walking distance - IYKYK), pubs and cocktail joints all around. Likewise, some various parks and the beautiful Tower Bridge as well as South Bank nearby for a stroll! You are also incredibly close to London Bridge for commuting as well as travel to any airport - commute times below.

To City/Bank: 15-20 minutes walking
To Liverpool: 15 min by bus
To Waterloo: 15 min by tube
To King's Cross: 25 min by tube

ME (Existing Flat Mate) + NEW FLAT MATE:
Hello again! I am a 37 (but feel 30 haha) American expat who has lived in London Bridge area for the past 2.5 years. I love this area as well as the community and all it has to offer. I'm a professional working in digital marketing and currently work from home. I LOVE travel so am often out though for getaways or weekend breaks. When in the city I am a bit fitness fan so gym often, as well as go on park walks or countryside hikes with my doggo, enjoy trying new dinner or cocktail spots as well as cosy nights in with board games or netflix.

I'm looking for a mature and responsible flat mate who is looking for a space to call home and will treat it with respect. Likewise someone who does not want to live in a house party flat (keep the Infernos at Infernos haha). I'm happy to socialize with a flat mate and enjoy a TV show, glass of wine or such but also am very aware that everyone has busy lives and we all need our alone/decompress time. Also, as I have a dog, someone who is dog friendly but please note, I handle all forms of taking care of him but he will be your best friend/cuddle buddy if you want :)
