The flat is part of the O Central development with bedrooms facing a courtyard and the kitchen/living room facing the pretty Victorian Pullens buildings on Crampton Street. The street itself is a no through road so is quiet at all times of day.
Kennington station (zone 1/2) is a 7 minute walk away with access to both branches of the Northern line providing speedy access to the West End, the City and Clapham. Also about 5 minutes away is Elephant & Castle station (zone 1/2) with Bakerloo and Northern lines plus Thameslink services. Barely 2 minutes away is Walworth Road providing frequent and surprisingly quick buses (Trafalgar Square 15 minutes, Victoria 20 minutes, Covent Garden 10 minutes). It's also easy to walk to places like Waterloo, Vauxhall, Victoria, Westminster, Covent Garden etc). On street parking is available with a permit, and secure cycle lockers are available to rent.
Sainsbury’s and Morrisons supermarkets both about 5 minutes walk away, plus East Street Market and a variety of high street shops including Boots and Marks & Spencer. Some decent pubs nearby, new restaurants in Sayer Street and Elephant Park, and Mercato Metropolitano is just a little further.
Very bright and airy open-plan kitchen/dining/living room which gets the sun all afternoon and evening, with leather sofa, wingback armchair, smart TV and dining table. Kitchen appliances include fan oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, bean to cup coffee machine and ice machine (Washer-dryer is in a separate utility cupboard in the hall).
Modern bathroom with bath, powerful thermostatically controlled shower, storage and an insanely big mirror, plus wireless audio system built into the ceiling so you can keep yourself entertained whilst taking a shower. (This is due to be retiled and have a new bath installed by summer)
The bedroom itself is 2.9x4.1m which is fairly large by London standards - unlike a lot of flats you can actually walk right around the bed! A floor to ceiling window complements a door that leads out onto the balcony, shared with the other bedroom. Just about big enough to sit outside for a drink with a friend, the balcony gets sunshine in the morning and reflected sunlight from afternoon to evening. Furniture includes a double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, desk and chair, and two mirrored wardrobes.
You'd be sharing the flat with a non-smoking gay 37 year old who's massively into going to theme parks, cinema, EastEnders and other trashy TV, and enjoying wine. In the summer I love a trip to a nude beach! I'm airline cabin crew which means I'm likely to be away 6-12 nights a month.
When I am at home, a lot of the time I prefer not to wear clothes so ideally you yourself will be a naturist/nudist or at the very least comfortable with this - this includes occasionally having like-minded friends around for cocktails. Please confirm your understanding of this when you message!
Looking for someone who wants a home and not just a room. Ideally you will be someone who is clean and tidy, a non-smoker, and sociable, and of course open-minded and cool with all the naturist stuff mentioned above. Open to discussing the possibility of a communally sex-positive home. Bators welcome!
All bills (council tax, water, 250 meg broadband, TV licence) included except electricity which is around £60 per month.
