Looking for a new friendly flatmate for to join me as my current flatmate is moving back home to Ireland.
The flat is really generous size for two people, spread across 2/3 floors with a large living room and separate kitchen (see pictures). Kitchen comes with a full sized dishwasher, washing machine and full height fridge freezer.
The room comes furnished and is a good sized double room with plenty of storage space. You would have sole use of the living room for any work from home set up because I have a little office space next to my room upstairs.
Shared use of the bathroom (with huge bath and shower) with very good water pressure and hot water (new boiler), which is always clean.
Flat is very well connected, 8 mins from Clapham North (Northern line) and 12 mins from Brixton (Victoria line) tube stations, as well as the amenities of both Clapham and Brixton have to offer, all within a 15 minute walk. 4 min walk to Lidl at the end of the road, very handy. Despite being so well connected the road itself is very quiet.
Rent is £1075 per month, not including bills, currently most the bills are set up so no faff to sort that out, they come to around £175 a month each, including council tax, water, gas, electric and TV licence.
Moving date is 13th March but current flatmate is flexible.
I currently work as a consultant project manager, 9-5:30 (sometimes longer hours) in the office twice a week. In the evenings and weekends when I'm not out with friends I do enjoy a wholesome hobby/craft. Looking to live with someone I get on well with who's up for a natter in the evenings when we're both in.
I do have a pet house rabbit, Peanut, who the landlord has agreed to let stay from January to mid-March, while my family are away, I would love for him to stay longer so a rabbit lover is ideal.
If you are interested, drop me a message with a bit about yourself and I will set up an in-person viewing at the weekend.
*I am currently extremely busy with work and an exam on Friday so apologies in advance for any slow responses!
Minimum income is 2.5x rent, £2,687.5 per month after tax, landlord/letting agent will do a income check before signing of the contract. Sorry I can't change this, thought it's worth mentioning before people apply.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
