I have a room in my cottage in Galgate, a thirty-minute walk or 2-minute bus ride from Lancaster University. One other student rents a room, and I am a mature student; positive, warm, friendly and, on the whole, quiet as I write a novel. The cottage is lovely, very warm and cosy; shared facilities include a laundry room, bathroom (shared with one other as I have an en-suite), kitchen/living room combined, good for chilling, and there is BT broadband. Everyone who has stayed has loved the cottage. The rent is £600 pm, which includes all bills. I am happy to accept a short term. I have a two-year-old Jack Russell/Chawowa dog called Lilly, who is very chilled and affectionate.
