Hi, I am Simona! I'm looking for a new flatmate(s) to share this beautiful house with. I am a scientist, starting the third year of my PhD this September. I also work part-time at a local brewery in Bermondsey so, if you like beer, there will always be some tasters available.
I have been living here happily for 2 years, sharing with a couple and with my cat, Zena. We all love the house and have had a great experience sharing. My flatmates are sadly leaving because their jobs are taking them away from London.

THE HOUSE
This is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom maisonette in a beautiful street in zone 1, right at the entrance of Burgess Park. It has a large entrance area, a spacious open living room with a modern kitchen, a garden, and a lot of separate storage space. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, and again plenty of storage space. The flat is split in two levels: the ground floor includes all the shared space, plus one of the bedrooms and a bathroom; the first floor is the other bedroom with its en-suite bathroom.

THE BEDROOMS
I currently occupy the upstairs en-suite, but I am flexible to move downstairs depending on your preference.
-Upstairs: the en-suite bedroom has a big built-in wardrobe, a double bed, and a juliet balcony facing the garden. The bathroom is complete, with a shower.
-Downstairs: this bedroom has a huge window facing the quiet Oakley Place, a minimalist (but comfortable) futon-bed, and a very spacious wardrobe. It has access from the entrance hall, right beside the door to the bathroom. The bathroom is also complete and has a bathtub.

THE AREA

-Transport:
Two-minute walk to the bus stop, with buses to all of London, including direct buses to major stations such as Waterloo, Kings Cross and London Bridge.
Bakerloo, Northern, Jubilee and overground lines are all just a short walk or cycle away.

-Shopping: we are just across the road from the big Tesco on Old Kent Road, and 5 minutes away from an equally big Lidl or Asda. The area also has plenty of little shops, and the famous East Street market is just down the road.

-Going out: the house at walking/cycling distance from Bermondsey Street, Peckham, Camberwell, and London Bridge. You can easily walk to great food markets like Borough or Maltby Street. It is also right at the edge of Burgess Park.

USEFUL INFORMATION
The bills are not included in the price. With three tenants, they are an average of around £75 per person, per month. This includes heating, water, electricity, broadband, and council tax. If you are students, we would not need to pay council tax (around £33 pp/pm).

Available from the 9th of August.

If you are interested in sharing this wonderful house with me (and Zena), please contact me to arrange a viewing.
