Unfortunately our lovely housemate is leaving as she has bought her own place. Her room will be available from 11th of march. We’re two easy-going professionals (a guy and a girl) and we’re hoping to find someone who is friendly, clean and likes to hang out, cook with us, chat and help us make this beautiful place our home (thinking of having a spring clean and make our living room a jungle of plants) but isn’t a party animal.

The flat is based in a quiet, gated development and is really spacious with a large, open-plan kitchen and living area, which we like to hang out in. There’s two bathrooms - one with a shower and the other with a bath/shower. The flat is fully furnished and there’s plenty of storage should you have bits and pieces to bring with you. We have all the usual stuff, including a washing machine, TV with Sky, microwave, toaster, kettle etc

The room available is a really nice and large double bedroom. The rent costs £700 per month and includes all bills, except the TV license. A security deposit of £700 is required to take the room, which will be refunded when you leave, assuming you don’t trash the place! The room comes furnished with a double bed, large built-in wardrobe and storage.

For those not familiar with the area, Camberwell is a great place to live. There are a few reasonably priced gyms nearby and loads of bars and restaurants to cater for every taste. We’re just a few minutes on the bus from Elephant & Castle (north), Oval (east), Brixton (south) and Peckham (west) with most buses going into central London. We’re also close to Denmark Hill station (15-minute walk), Oval and Elephant & Castle tube stations (5 mins on bus or 20-minute walk).
