GOOD SIZE DOUBLE BEDROOM AVAILABLE IN LIGHT, MODERN AND SPACIOUS FLAT - OVAL/CAMBERWELL
My name is Freddie and I am planning on moving out of London. I am leaving behind a good-sized double bedroom in a friendly four person house share in a gated community in Oval/Camberwell.
The flat:
This split-level four-bedroom flat is located in a gated community, 5 minutes walk from Oval station (due south, towards Camberwell) and features:
Large garage/utility/storage (ground floor) - featuring and washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and ample storage (our bikes, suitcases, general bits and pieces)
Open plan living/kitchen/dining space (first floor) - featuring ample food storage, all the electrical appliances you’d expect and a feature island cooker/hob (great for communal cooking). The whole space easily converts into a collapsible ‘home cinema’ (150” screen and projector)!
Outdoor terrace (first floor) - off of the open plan living space, featuring a large table and chairs and BBQ!
2 x washrooms (1 x bath, 1 x shower)
The gated community is accessed with a code to the main gates. Our neighbours are great and the mini-estate is safe, quiet and pretty! The estate is very well kept with a gardener who tends to the planters and hanging baskets.
The room:
The double room available is dual-aspect, catching great light throughout the day, with room for a double bed and ample storage space.
I furnished the room, however I will be selling some of the bedroom furniture (all recently purchased) at a great price. Please drop us a message for more details concerning the furniture for sale.
All of the bedrooms are on the second floor but thick walls and considerate housemates make for a quiet and relaxed nights sleep!
Rent is £790, with bills coming to approximately £95 per month.
Housemates:
We are currently 3 very relaxed boys and 1 girl in our 20s/early 30s, Monica, Freddie, Callum, Joao. We are are hard working (one architect, one graphic designer, one working in international relations and the other in the music industry).
We all enjoy kicking back with a movie and cooking/eating together when we can. We’ve gotten to know eachother and each other’s friends very well.
Lease:
Our letting agent/landlord is great and has been very proactive during our term in the flat.
We currently have a lease on the flat until 31st January 2021, however (as with previous years) there will a discussion later on in the year whether or not to extend it amongst housemates. There has been no indication that the remaining housemates will want to vacate the flat, so an extension is likely.
Once a suitable tenant has been found we will begin the smooth change-of-tenant process (which I have been involved with before, when I moved in).
