Sadly, we are moving out so are advertising all four double rooms in Kennington/Vauxhall.
ABOUT THE ROOMS:
ROOM 1:
The room is fully furnished, more than a decent size and comfortable. It has loads of storage with built in wardrobes, 2 bedside tables and a shelving unit to go along with the bed. The room has been delightful to live in, quiet and comfortable and I am sad to see it go, but know that someone else, (hopefully you reading this!) will really enjoy it.
ROOM 2:
This room is fully furnished, with built-in wardrobes, double bed, bedside table, bookcase, chest of drawers and full-length mirror. It’s got a huge window so nice and bright in summer and insulated so lovely and warm in the winter. The room also comes with a private bathroom (includes a shower) just next to it.
ROOM 3:
This room is fully furnished, with built in wardrobes, double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, and a large desk with chair. It is south facing so nice and bright throughout the day
ROOM 4:
This room is fully furnished, with a wardrobe, double bed, bedside table, shelving unit, and a chest of drawers
ABOUT THE FLAT:
The flat is based on the first floor with both stairs and a lift if you need to take up some heavy shopping etc. It’s nice and secure with an entry fob needed for the hall and stairs, which is well lit at night.
The flat has 3 toilets, including Room 2’s private bathroom. The main shared bathroom also has a bath/shower.
There is a big shared living room with a large Sony Bravia TV which we will leave behind, two large sofas and a dining table with chairs, perfect for working from home, having friends over or just for chilling.
The landlord lives in the area so is always on hand to deal with any requests and is super nice and chilled / doesn’t check up on you every month or anything like that.
The flat is comfortable and off the main road so quiet, and is in a really convenient location with loads of stuff around.
SHOPS, ENTERTAINMENT & GYMS:
Near the flat there is a Tesco on Kennington Lane (everyday open from 08:00-22:00 and on Sundays from 10:00-16:00), just 2 minutes’ walk from the flat, and different smaller shops (e. g. mini Sainsbury's / Waitrose) and off licenses for late on a Sunday.
For when the world is back to normal:
There are also restaurants, cafes and pubs/bars nearby and the surrounding area that offer a variety of choices for a meal out.
There are also multiple gyms in the area in walking distance (e. g. The Gym group (Vauxhall); Pure Gym (Oval); GymBox (E&C); and the Foundry (just down the road)).
TRANSPORT & AREA:
It’s super convenient: a 10-minute walk to Vauxhall station on the Victoria line (Zone 1!) and 15 minutes to Kennington Station and Oval Station (both Zone 2), on the Northern line (both branches). The Thames is within 10 minutes’ walk as well and in 20-25 minutes’ walk you can get to Westminster or further towards soho to the north or Waterloo to the east for a lovely walk along Southbank.

Room 1 - £800
Room 2 - £830
Room 3 - £780
Room 4 - £750
All can be available for a couple for an additional £200pcm.
Both rents include council tax but excludes gas, water, WiFi and electricity, which normally comes around £40-50 per month per flatmate.
Deposit is one month’s rent, however if you are initially unable to pay the full deposit due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the landlord will accept a lower amount.
It’s definitely an ideal location considering you’d be living in Zone 1 and a stone’s throw away from the Thames! Most of us have enjoyed being able to walk to work when we needed to.
