Hey everyone !!
So my offer has been accepted for a spacious 2 bed 2 bath modern flat on the 10th floor of the Antonine Heights development (10 min walk to Borough station/London Bridge station) and I’m looking to fill the other room by adding someone else to the tenancy (the fee will be £50).
The monthly rent is £1,101.50 excluding bills, which I think would be c. £100 a month or less including council tax, wifi etc. I’m renting the property through KALMARS letting agency and you will have to pass their referencing checks which include minimum salary (2.5x monthly rent) or a guarantor, employee verification letter etc.
The contract begins on the 25th of July and the contract length is 48 months with a 12 month break clause & 2 months notice - If you want to leave the tenancy at any point though you just need to find someone to replace you and pay the £50 fee to change the name on the tenancy.
The deposit is a 5 weeks security deposit and 1 months rent which is protected via the Deposit Protection Scheme. I’ve attached a photo of the floorplan and included a web link to the listing below as I don’t have photos on my phone. Happy to send over a link to the direct listing.
The place comes part-furnished (double beds and wardrobes) and it would be amazing to get some input/design ideas for the rest of the flat but equally I’m happy to take care of that if you’re not too fussed.
A bit about me....
My name’s Ashley and I’m a 25 year old female professional working in finance. I was born and raised in London but studied languages at uni so have lived abroad (Paris and Mexico City!). I’m a very sociable person who loves meeting new people and would enjoy hanging out/going out with my flatmate, but equally I have my own social life and am very respectful of people’s private space.
I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, cooking, watching films/documentaries, going to exhibitions (art, fashion, music etc.), festivals/concerts (I love all kinds of music !) and wine (planning on doing WSET level 2 soon !) I’m starting a new job in finance at the beginning of August and plan to go into the office 4 - 5 days a week so won’t be WFH a huge amount. I work pretty long hours and like to come home to a quiet space during the week but very happy for the occasional house party/after party on the weekends. I like to travel a lot (just came back from South East Asia/Australia) and visit my friends in different countries so I’m also very happy for friends/family to visit and stay over from time to time too.
I’m preferably looking to share with a female (mid 20s to early 30s) who’s chilled, clean, doesn’t WFH a huge amount/WFH from their bedroom, but most importantly wants to make this flat a home and safe space rather than just a room to live in. I’m LGBTQ+ friendly btw :)
Please message me if you think this could be a good match and want to have a FaceTime/coffee before organising a viewing.
Thanks so much,
Ashley <3
