Council tax: As this flat is currently occupied by students, any potential renters who are not current students will be responsible for the council tax of the entire property
Hi everyone, I have 1 bedroom available in a 3 bedroom house a 5 minute walk from London Bridge station, 4 minute walk to Borough station. The property is spread over 2 floors, with the kitchen and living room on the ground floor, and the three bedrooms+bathroom on the first floor. Bills are not included but will be split evenly between all residents in the flat. The house comes with a private back garden and access direct to the private street. Parking can be applied for if necessary. The kitchen has two full sized fridge-freezers and washing machine. Kitchen comes with a toaster, microwave, kettle, and all kitchen accessories. With my current flatmates we share all the cutlery, dishware, pots and pans, etc., and I am happy to do the same so you won’t need to buy any excess kitchen equipment unless you want to. We have extra storage in the flat externally (not pictured), and will be building a garden shed this summer as well.
Bedroom details:
Fully furnished with single bed with underbed storage, wardrobe with automatic internal light, desk and chair.
Lovely view of the back garden
Rent £875 per month
About the property:
I’m a graduate student at university (I’m 24 years old), and I’ve been living in this flat for two years. I share the main bedroom with my boyfriend. The other bedroom in the flat (not advertised) will be occupied by a male student studying for a Master's. I own a black cat called Midnight that is super chill and sleeps all day. I manage the flat for the landlord (ie. I am in charge of all the repairs, furnishing, paperwork, etc.) so you are guaranteed to have a good landlord experience as I’m also living in the same house. The property has good access to all supermarkets and transport links.
Person specification:
The only non-negotiable requirement for potential renters is that they must be clean and a non-smoker. I would prefer to rent to students who are above the age of 21 and are respectful, and reasonably social. I’m hoping that anyone moving in will have a similar work/life schedule to me, which is quite quiet on the weekdays, but more social on the weekends. Potential renters must be open to living with all genders and must be happy to live with a cat. Midnight does shed quite a bit, so please do keep that in mind if you have allergies.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
