The room available is a large double furnished room, with lots of natural light. It is in a modern two bed flat, with one other occupant (me). There is a bright, spacious, and airy kitchen/ living room area, which is well-furnished, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The flat is in a small development of only ten flats, which is safe as it is gated and only accessible by fob. There is also a roof garden with outdoor furniture perfect for having friends over in the summer.

The flat is ideally located in a vibrant area. Elephant & Castle and Kennington stations are both ten minutes walk away and there are bus stops less than two minutes from the flat. There are great local amenities on Walworth Road and in the surrounding area including a 24 hour gym, parks, 24 hour shops, supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways (the thai is great), pubs with beer gardens, and parks, including Burgess Park. As well as this it is off East Street where there is a market 6 days a week.

I'm a History teacher and am looking for a professional as a flatmate. Whilst I'm sociable and enjoy going out, I also like to relax at home and I'm looking to share with someone similar to make the flat feel like a home. I am fine for people to have friends round (especially at weekends!) as long as they respect that I have to be up very early and follow government guidance about this given the pandemic. I like to keep the flat to a good standard of cleanliness, and have a cleaner once a week, and would expect that of any flatmate. Any potential must also like dogs because I have a chihuahua, Bacchus, who will smother you with cuddles. Apart from taking Bacchus out, I do karate, go to bars, watch sci-fi and documentaries, and travel (when it's possible). I am a member of the LGBT+ community so any applicants must be LGBT+ friendly or a member of the community themselves.

Rent is £650, and bills are c.£100 a month, all inclusive.
